Proudly Irish and family-run since 1989
When Joel returns home from a party early, he opens his kitchen door to find his whole world shattered; his brother fighting for his life, his stepmother unconscious at the bottom of the stairs.
With no evidence of anyone else having been in the house that night - and Joel's father missing from the scene - the police soon believe they have their prime suspect. Joel can only watch in horror as the case against his father begins to build.
But what's more important? Justice - or family?
As the police launch a manhunt, Joel embarks on his own desperate search to prove his father's innocence. A race against time to discover if a secret from the past has finally caught up with their family - and if he's ever really known his father at all . . .
Is Joel the only one who can see the truth? Or will blind loyalty lead him into terrible danger?

Why can’t I buy a preorder with any other item?
We work to process orders as soon as they’re placed so that you get your delivery as quickly as possible in one go.
Preorders are not immediately dispatched as they are delivered upon the respective release date. This means there will be a wait between placing your order and receiving your order.
If you need to add more items to your basket, we recommend placing a separate order for this. We will send out all the items in your order in one delivery and preorder items will always arrive just after their respective release date.
Can I cancel/amend my preorder once it’s placed?
If you’ve purchased a preorder title but noticed a mistake on your order, please contact our online team at customercare@bookstation.ie and we will try to fix this for you before the book is released and dispatched.
Once your order is shipped and physically in transit, we can no longer offer any amendments to your order.
