About the Author

In 2019, Molly Nic Céile began Gaeilge i mo chroí – Irish in my heart – the successful YouTube channel and Instagram account. She creates content to share her passion for the Irish language and knowledge to help and inspire learners. With 100k+ followers across social media accounts and some videos garnering close to a million views, Gaeilge i mo chroí is a go-to on the internet for Irish language learners. Her first book Gaeilge i Mo Chroí – Irish In My Heart was a bestseller and won an An Post Irish Book Award in 2024. Since then she has launched her own website gaeilgeimochroi.com where she sells merchandise and offers online courses and workshops as well as an an accountability group for learners with Briana Ní Loingsigh. She has taught sold-out Irish classes at the Irish Arts Centre in Manhattan and spoke at the Irish Consulate about the progress of the language. She began a podcast in October 2025 where she discusses the highs and lows of life, all as Gaeilge. She is an avid reader herself and was an ambassador for Ireland Reads in February 2026.
