About the Author

Mark Moriarty is an award-winning chef, TV host and author, based in Dublin, Ireland. A recognised face in both Irish and international food, Mark is best known for presenting well-regarded TV series including Off Duty Chef, Cook Like a Chef, and Beyond the Menu. His debut cookbook Flavour won the An Post Irish Cookbook of the Year, while his follow up title Season was a no. 1 bestseller. As Stanley Tucci put it, ‘I’ve eaten Mark’s food and now I’ve read his book. Mouthwatering. Literally. Buy it.’ Mark began working in kitchens at the age of 16 and trained in a host of Michelin-starred restaurants in Ireland and further afield. He was sous chef at The Greenhouse under Mickael Viljanen, which held two Michelin stars. Mark is the food writer for The Irish Times.
